How Tayrona Indigenous Confederation (CIT) we participate in the city of Cali within the framework of COP16as part of the spaces for dialogue and articulation between indigenous peoples, Governments and international organizations.

In this global scenario, from the CIT we seek to exchange knowledge, share experiences of territorial protection and collect relevant information on decisions, commitments and discussions related to biodiversity and the defence of life.

Through our presence in these spaces, from the Tayrona Indigenous Confederation we strengthen the exchange with other indigenous peoples and international actors, with the aim of knowing initiatives, environmental protection mechanisms and governance proposals that can contribute to the strengthening of the specific care processes of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

In this way, it allowed us to carry the voice of the territory and at the same time to collect learning to further strengthen the defense of the Heart of the World.
